WHere is an easy version of a drink from our latest drinks list. It's a large-volume prepared mix that is bursting with tastes of a holiday season, which makes it excellent for a festive gathering. Any leftover citrus syrup to use in brunch beverages, puddings, or for another batch of this cocktail.

Yields 10 people
For the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
Fresh cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Method
For the Cordial: Place all the items into a saucepan, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing to dissolve. Next, remove from the stove and let it to cool down fully. Decant into a sealable bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, it will last for about a month.
Preparing the Premix: Combine the specified liquids into one sizeable container, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it , ideally through muslin, so it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml of your batch mix into a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and stir lightly for a minute to chill. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, garnish with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a brief mist of mandarin oil over the top.
